About Us

Christ Church Spitalfields is a Grade 1 listed building that has been saved from dereliction and restored through generous financial support from public and private funds.

The restoration has been a triumph of vision, meticulousness and dedication over many years. Some £10 million has been raised from local and national sources. Part of the prerequisite of obtaining Heritage Lottery funding was the formation of a company (CCCV) to ensure the financial sustainability of the building. This most commonly operates under the Christ Church Spitalfields Venue banner. CCCV is a charity and profits from venue hire are reinvested in the development and maintenance of the building.
